A small set - the stage for a series of strange creations or still lives or fantasy room settings. It will feature a plant/flower, something edible/drink and something man-made
SERIES 2
A new set could be built. Here we are not trapped in a corner. There's a way out...is that hope? The curtains are drawn so social distancing is still happening...but light is slipping in.I decided to approach this series almost as a series of 2D images. The object itself is not important. It’s what shapes and colours it adds to the picture.The 3 fundamental ingredients for a traditional still life is still there: something edible, botanical and man-made.
